Terms of Service
Effective Date: 16 April 2026
1. Overview
Cloud Locksmith ("we", "our", "us") provides a cloud security posture management platform for Microsoft 365 environments. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have authority to grant access to the Microsoft 365 tenant you connect
You represent that you have appropriate administrative permissions.
3. Service Description
Cloud Locksmith provides:
- Security posture analysis
- Risk prioritization
- Automated and user-initiated remediation actions that may modify tenant configurations
The service integrates with Microsoft 365 via OAuth and Microsoft Graph APIs. Service availability may depend on Microsoft services, APIs, and permissions.
4. Account & Access
Authentication is handled via Microsoft OAuth. We do not store passwords. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining access to your Microsoft account
- Ensuring only authorized users access your account
5. Permissions & Data Access
By connecting your tenant, you grant permission to:
- Read identity and configuration data
- Perform write actions when remediation is triggered
We only access data required to provide the service.
6. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Reviewing remediation actions before execution
- Maintaining your security policies
- Verifying outputs before applying changes
7. Automated Remediation Disclaimer
Cloud Locksmith may perform automated or semi-automated remediation actions that modify your Microsoft 365 environment. By using these features, you acknowledge that:
- Actions may change user access, permissions, or configurations
- Actions may result in unintended operational impact (e.g., access loss)
- Rollback mechanisms, where available, are not guaranteed to fully restore prior state
You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving actions before execution. Cloud Locksmith is not responsible for any impact resulting from remediation actions executed through the platform.
8. No Warranty
The service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee:
- Complete security
- Compliance with any standard
- Prevention of breaches
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cloud Locksmith shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of data, revenue, or business
- Security incidents
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if:
- Terms are violated
- Misuse is detected
You may stop using the service at any time.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
